How much have you spent?

I thought about this for less than a minute and i'm over $800.00
So I quit thinking about it.
I started in May of this year.
But, my 9yr. old son and I are having fun!

I have spent around $2500+ in the last 2 months getting into the nitro hobby. This includes the cost of 4 vehicles (T-Maxx, Rustler, Ofna MBX 9.5, Schumacher Menace), support equipment, hop-ups etc. However, it was completely funded from the proceeds of selling some of my vintage graded Star Wars toys. God I love eBay. :w00t:

$6,891.52 and I just bougt a few more items so I think I past the $7k mark. This is just for my T-Maxx only and not including my HPI Truck and Kyosho Buggy. I spent $687.00 on my HPI Savage SS, and $909.00 on my Kyosho Kanai II. Kinda scary to think how much money I've dumped into this hobby so far.

Yeah, I spent way too much money on it but at the end of the day I don't have any regrets. This hobby is REALLY fun and I enjoy it so much. I just wish I could dedicate more time to working on cars and running them.

Now, I think I want to meet more people into R/C and try to see what it takes to race. How do all the rest of you find races or events? I'm located in the Bay Area.

old subject...but posting this so maybe a friend of mine will read this...since hes the one who got me hooked on this R/C stuff....as of today I've spend 2800$ on r/c in exactly 29 days.....475$ jsut a few hours ago on an x-terminator deluxe....then agian i hope he doesn't read this so i can call him up to go bash and pull the x-terminator out of the trunk instead of my 98% non traxxas-built-in-a-week-and-half-since-purchase .21 maxx! (jsut electronics still traxxas) only thing that i hope will slow me down is that holidays are coming up....gota buy stuff for other people and all that you know..hehe
