How do you store your RCs?

I'll do my best to keep the chinese hackers out of the files! Jeez! 🙄
I'm glad you got something out of it at least! 👍
Yeah, I got em back. I posted my 3d model of their printer all over the internet 😅

Hi all,
So I've been trying to figure out the best way to store my RCs. I've looked into purchasing some kind of wall mount, which can be spendy or just building a shelf. I'm trying to fit cars from 1/24 to 1/10 scale.

Biggest thing is finding (or building) something so I don't eventually get flat spots on my tires.

Thanks!
I use plastic totes with lids. Set them up on extra tires or blocks of wood under the skid plate.

We bought my BIL and nephews a 3d printer for Christmas. Once they get it figured out I'll hit you up for that if you don't care.
Sure thing. I can put custom text on them too if ya like. Just not this text 😉
(Stole your pic @Doom!)

My current status on storing as well...
On the sewing table, office desk, Kitchen table...😆
Same here. I have RCs everywhere. Senton on the coffee table. Kaiju on the hutch. Limitless on the kitchen table. I keep one in its box. Another is on a build mat. Couple others are stored at an angle. I bought a big 5 tier shelf unit, 24"×40"×72", I've yet to put together or make room for. Should hold nearly a dozen RCs, I hope.

I'm glad to see this thread, as I need a better solution to store my growing fleet. For now, though, I have a couple of Kyosho Field Bags (with dividers) the on-road cars live in, and an old Tupperware 'sales' bag for the Nitro Hawk. I haven't gotten anything formal for the new Mugen 1/8 buggy yet, so it's still in the cardboard box along with the rest of the gear and spare parts my friend John sold to me a few weeks ago.

I do have some shelves in my shed/shop next to the bench which I'll be re-organizing to make room for them and I'm planning on getting a set of 'pack-out' style hard plastic tool totes to handle field duties. Thinking about these: https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-...ol-boxes-bags-belts/modular-tool-storage.html, or maybe these: https://www.homedepot.com/b/Tools-Tool-Storage-Portable-Tool-Boxes/RIDGID/N-5yc1vZc22aZ18g, or maybe even these: https://www.homedepot.com/b/Tools-T...Husky/Husky-Build-Out/N-5yc1vZc22aZrdZ1z1z17r

I just need to figure out what the track day needs will be.

Yes! YOU need a solution RIGHT NOW!!! I've gone ahead and forwarded a shipping label... you can pack ALL that pesky Kyosho stuff up and send it to me. Storage problem fixed! 👍😁

Funny thing is, I only have the Pegasus (and it's evil twin) and my SuperTen. The rest are 2 HPI NRS4s and a Super NRS4. LOL!!

I do plan on plussing up the Kyosho numbers with a PureTen FW-06 soon, though. If they'd only made a Nitro-powered Turbo Optima....

I could be talked into getting an Inferno NEO 3.0, though.

I bought a Peugot 405 chassis to scratch that itch. Lots of shared/similar parts. 😎

I like the hanging look. I may have to try that in the future. I just de-wheeled all of our rigs this morning. I like winter. But now that I’m back into RC, it’s a bit of a thorn in my side because we can’t go to the local schoolyard and zip around. There will be plenty of time for that in the spring , summer and fall.
