How do you cut the thicker lexan bodies?

I just bought a new body for my truggy. It's a proline bulldog, and this is thicker than my last one. I can't really score and rip it like the thin ones. I bought a cutting tool for the dremel and it melts it more than cutting it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Score and snap bro. Use a pair of pliers if necessary, just be careful you don't scratch the body.

I cut it out as close to the lines as possible using lexan scissors, then I use a sanding drum on the dremel to finish it up.

I use the dremel cutting blade and then the sanding drum.

Thanks guys, i ended up using dremel, a blade and pliers to snap it. Turned out not bad, its only my second body. Tryin to post a pic but its not working.

Can remember the 1st time i tried to do a shell for my t maxx using a stanly knife because i had no scissors . That was a waste of 20 quid looked like a 5 year old had done it . Lol .

X2, this method works great for me

I have tried every method, and found that the one I described works best for me, gives me the cleanest body lines. I am not a fan of score and snap, one slip of the knife and you can waste a body.

Also, NEVER make any right angle corners, ALWAYS round any inside corner, a right angle corner is much more likely to tear at the corner.
