How do you clean your cooling head to ensure dirt doesn't get inside the motor while removing the glow plug? I've used compressed air and paper towels but it sure makes me nervous pulling the plug on a dirty motor.

I use compressed air and hold my truck upside down when I pull the plug, that way if anything breaks free it will fall away from the engine and not into it.

Yeah i too just use compressed air and when removing plug i always turn rig on its side and lean it more upside down to ensure the washer and anything else loose in head falls away from engine.

I use a can of computer/car duster because it has the red straw thing. It gets down in there and completely blows all the gunk and crap out of there.
