How do you carry your RCs?

On a couple of occasions, I had to carry my 1/10 crawlers, a couple of miles, out of the woods. It's no fun having to hold and carry a nearly 10lb object for such a long duration.
I came up with a solution that made it much easier. I got an unused shoulder strap from a gym bag and put a caribiner on each end. The caribiner gets clipped on to each side of a selected axle, then the strap goes over my head to the back of my neck. I had to use it once, when I ran out of batteries. Works very well!

That's an excellent idea, will have to try that next time. Thanks for sharing!

I usually carry them by the arm. My hpi has a little handle. 🤣🤣

For trasporting them, I used a basket and even bungee them on the back of a bike. I discovered a backpack keeps everything in one place, and gives you peace of mind knowing it hasnt fell off.

Great idea and awesome truck.
Whatever rigs the wife and I choose to run then I just toss them in the back of my truck.
Same here. Also depends if we take the dogs to go run with them. If the dogs go the trucks are tossed in the bed if not they go in the backseat of the dodge ram we got last year

I don't have the luxury of being able to stand back, and go, "hmm, I think I'll bring that basher...that buggy, and how 'bout that crawler?" as I only have 2 rigs (hopefully 3 if I win the SCX24 giveaway)! 🤣🤣
My grandkids Lil red wagon..😜😂
I mean, it's pretty compact, and beats carrying all the RCs!

Cool! I would use a tarp or something to cover the rigs, or else if it rains, hails, the sun's out, ect. your rigs won't be exposed and damaged. Also be careful when stopping for gas or something, as someone could just grab some and go!
Until it warms up, I carry mine down the hall into the train room. I love these 24s...
What do you crawl on in the training room? Do you crank the treadmill up as steep as it goes and zig zag to the top with it on? 🤣🤣

Smart idea Xraycer! I've used straps/slings to carry other things before a couple of times, but not for RC! Luckily, my two RCs are both well under 2.5 pounds, so carrying them isn't too bad, but it still does get old sometimes. Because they are 1/14 scale and 1/16 scale, I can put one of them in my backpack! I've seen on YT guys running big 1/5 scale or 1/7 scale rigs, had them run out of fuel, won't start, or dead batteries, ect. and had to tow them out of the woods, by holding the front axle (if it's a solid axle rig), or by the front bumper, with the rear wheels rolling on the ground! The lifting and towing beats carrying a huge 20lbs+ vehicle!

Do they hop in, or get thrown in? lol
I usually go by bike to my favorite places (did this video because I recently got the bungee cords, which opened up a lot of possibilities):

I usually don't have to carry mine for miles, we'll go to a park or something (we don't drive places just for RCs), and I'll bring one or both of my RCs, either one fits nicely inside an RC bag (which is a re-purposed, small plastic, reusable groccery-bag style thing) I have, which goes into a back pack. If I brought my other RC, that'll either wait on the car for it's turn to be run, or I'll grab it by the rear bumper, or just drive along.

Oh, lol! I take good care of my "toys"! Do you use a ramp instead, and launch them into the truck, or does that count as "not taking good care" of them? 🤣🤣
Trucks were made to be jumped. I tried jumping my house before. Long story short she tore into the garage and into the air compressor.

What, you mean launching them off a ramp straight into the back of your car/van, or throwing them in? I'm not sure which option would do the most damage, I guess it depends how hard you throw your RCs, and how cushy the backs of your back seats are!
Either way. As long as your having fun
