I am having a hard time getting the fuel to the engine in my NTC3. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do that. thx.

A friend of mine puts his thumb on the stinger and gives the engine a pull or two. This gets the fuel moving enuff so he can start his RC.

This is how I do it. Before I start a cold motor, I will pull the pressure line off the exhaust pipe and thenblow in it. You will hear the air being pushed out through the carb and a bit or a gurgle sound then once it stops you should have fuel at the HS neddle. I also prefer using a clear near clear fuel tubing blue yellow something I can see the fuel in. This also depends on the color of your fuel. Dont use a pink line with pink fuel. Anyway another reason this is a good way to do it is somethimes your one mway bearing will slip but once you get fuel to the motor it will stop that way you can get a good pull on the motor. X

I use the finger over the exhaust port of the pipe method. Put your finger over the exhaust to block the exit. Then give the engine a couple of pulls on the starter cord or run the EZ-Start for about 5 seconds. This will get the fuel to the right place in enough quantity.

Regardless of what method you use, do not over do it. You can easily flood the engine with any method of priming, if you over do it.

Thx, but I am still considering if I should blow on it or now cuz the tubing is kind of dirty. And the nitro warning said that it could give you cancer and stuff. But that is probably the only easy to get the fuel to the engine without pulling too much of the pull string. Thx

I personally dont recommend blowing into the fuel line. I remember getting a mouthful of fuel...ONCE.... Sometimes blowing into the tank pressurizes it, and as soon as you release the pressure, it comes right back out the tube. Nitro fuel tastes horrible for hours...lol
The old finger over the exhaust & some clear tubing works the best... My 2 cents....

Oh man anything will give you cancer. Hell the state of california I think has a law that anything dealing with R/C must have label saying it contains some poop that will cause cancer.
Anyway just watch out and dont get a mouthful and you will be cool. X
