how do i know when gow pug charger is flat ?, i guess it is i\ just filled the tank and eaither my car wont turn over or the glow plug charger is flat .$!#%@%#@

am i able to leave the fuel in the tank till tommorow ?

you can leave the fuel in the tank for probably up to a week or more but you want to disconnect your fuel line where it hooks up to the carb and pinch it off or plug it with something so the fuel doesn't leak out and then you can use your ARO like normal. As for checking the plug or ignitor just pull the plug out of your engine and plug it in to the ignitor. Is it glowing? If yes then all is well but if not then test it on a known good glow plug like a brand new one. I always carry several spares. if it doesn't light the new one the the ignitor is dead. If it does then the old glow plug is dead. You can also buy a rechargeable one that has a little meter on it although a dead glow plug will also show like a dead ignitor cuz it can't complete a circuit so you still have to test on a known good plug to tell if its the plug or the ignitor thats dead.

i usually keep 2 glow plug starters fully charged, never without one that way ;)

If your un-certain about your glow plug charger, charge your stick full then put a glow plug onto it and see if the filliment glows red.

to test your glow plug igniter you need to have an extra glow plug laying around.. or take yours out.. for push it against the glow plug and it should light up .. if not then either your plug is bad or you have not charge..
