I bought a new big-screen TV so I could live in the box...

That made me laugh there!!! :spit: :spit:

Yeh man, the top ramen is good!!! I always eat it dry... Crunch it up in the bag, pour it in a bowl, and sprinkle the flavoring on it... MMMMM I like the chicken ones the best for that... Spicy shrimp is good when cooked... :smoke:

The worst cig bummers are the ones that ask for a smoke and when you give them one they look at the brand and say "menthols? no thanks!"QUOTE]

I don't give out my cigarettes to those that constantly mooch. To save money, hmmmm ... I really don't. Only time I really spend any money is when I race on the weekends. Sl0eg1n buys the gas, I buy the food and we each pay our own entries. It works out to roughly $40. Spare parts and other incidentalsare about another $40 ... all in all $100/weekend if we break alot. SOOOOOOO, to save money, I try not to break too much at the track ... :)

wow, thats why i race 8th scale. 2 sets of tires will last all season on our track. i rarely break, got out of 10th scale because they break so easy. $12 entrance fee, $8 for nitro, $3 for gas to get there. then i either pack a lunch or spend $10 to feed my son and i. about $35-$40 for the weekend total.

to save money in general, my son and i spend a lot of time at my parents house, usually right around dinner time. and I've been cooking lately. anyone that knows me, knows how significant that is. i can cook pretty well, however i hate to clean up so i choose not to. i used to spend about $150-$200/week eating out almost every meal.

I've started re-using condoms to save money..

thats just a joke..ick..

Well here in Mn. the gas is high, but they just added a extra .75 cent tax to cigs, so now my cigs are $4.25 a pack. Thats whats been killin me. So I've been cutting back on that a bit, and am going to talk to the doc when I get my stiches out about quiting.

Welll, this is for on-road touring cars. I have yet to get full into the buggy scene. Not really too many places I can run them here (competatively) but I'll be looking more forward to next year!

Bought a motorcycle...and I don't drive the r/c car anymore haha

Well, both help me pay less for gas, but they weren't bought to save money.

oh i know its for touring cars, thats 1 reason i dont race them, the second being the nearest track is over an hour away. i have one offroad track 15 minutes away and 2 more within an hour. one of those is indoors and runs nitro year round. 10th scale trucks were almost as expensive to run. $20 in tires alone every week, same entrance and nitro costs. plus additional breakage because they are built lighter so they are more fragile. buggys can run with worn tires and still hook up, on our track if your truck tires dont have nice sharp edges they dont hook up.

Mine didn't come with a box... what a jip! (it was a display model)

I haven't done this is years but I used to go to the Roy Rogers near the WTC and on the second floor they had a separate "fixins bar".....a littel lettuce some tomato, onion......mix some ketchup and mayo w/ relish and voila a salad w/ thousand island dressing....lol....or I'd push the dirty dog carts back to the warehouse for some of those middle easter street vendor guys if they'd cook me a kabob when we got there....after getting scummed a few times by some of em I started getting 10 bucks for it...worked out better that way cause I could get a fallafel for a buck in the village.....in S Fl there is no real good ways to save money except for using the free newspapers for ferret litter and cooking your own food....eating out here is crazy and th efood usually sucks.....

My best bud in college would get so much per week from his parents and he would try and split it 50 % for food 50% for beer. eventually the split grew larger on the beer side until he was basically living off of Ramen and Mrs. Dash Sandwhiches. A loaf of bread and sprinkle on the Dash. Hey Woodie my wife cuts coupons like crazy, yet they usually expire before she remembers she has one for an a particular item.

I stand at a busy intersection with a sign.

Strech,
Whats you doing this weekend?
I'm going to be up that way on Sat
No plans other than purchasing roller blades for the banana. Call me at home or on the cell.

Dump the wife and kids too...they just cost too damn much now adays.....I dumped the wife but my kid is too cool, so she can stay for a while longer....

My oldest (of three) children has graduated from the chicken fingers and fries kids meal @ Olive Garden to the Fettucini Alfredo w/grilled chicken.

Kids meal = 4.95 includes drink

Chik/Fet = 11.95 + 2 (drink) = 13.95

I personally think the kids chicken fingers at the Garden are pretty good.....

So she orders the kiddy meal....I order the Chik/Fet and water. When they bring the meals we swap. She can't eat the whole adult size portion (honestly who can) so I get a plateful of the Fetucinni Alfredo along with the chicken finger meal.

Call me cheap....But don't call me easy....well I'm easy too

Mr T

When I was younger I used to go to the Dollarrama to get condoms which were 3 for a buck, It was much cheaper than paying 5-6 bucks for a big box of 12 as they expire after 7 years usually anyway :)

My wife is a vegetarian so we go to this local burger joint that lets you put your own lettuce, salsa, pickles, tomatoes etc so when we go I order a normal burger and she buys a $59 toasted bun which makes for cheap eats :) (This is at Fuddruckers for those of you from MA)

I also make my bother and sister in law still order a kids mean when we go out, one is 15 and the other is 16 but honestly those little f**kers will suck me dry of all cash if I let them. I do get the occasional look from the waitress and a few times have had to tell them that they are just big for there age (supposed to be 12)

My condoms always expire not to mention I'm socially irresponsible.
