i searched the forums for battery chargers and couldnt find exactly what i was looking for so,...i need a quick charger..the 10 hour that came with the 18t is bad. fasteddy suggested the losi quick charger. anyone else have anything else?

I'm with Eddy, the Losi quick charger is a good inexpensive peak charger. That was my first Nimh charger. Currently, I'm using a Duratrax intellipeak Deluxe and have been happy with it for the price

I agree with rush ont eh tires....I have the TC adapters and the only thing they are good for is going super fast in a straight line.....the MT tires last ALOT longer than step pins do.....that's just an RC basic.....step pin tires are really only for dirt/grass surfaces

will the mt tires fit the 28t without all the other converting? like it wont interfere with the body or anything else so i dont have to buy anything else

nope, no other converting necessary. you're good to go with the MT tires. They are a little bigger than standard wheels/tires so you may want to use a smaller pinion gear on your motor.

if your new and want a cheap one go to hobbytron.com and look for the smartech speedy tiger!!! the package is 252 dollars with everything and RTR i used to have one and it wasn't that bad.. i was thinking about getting another one but I'm going for a hyper!

but its fine if i dont? leaving the stock pinion gear would just make it go a lil slower right?

yeah, I'm sure it'll be fine with the stock pinion. I'm not sure if AE supplies a different pinion for the RC18MT vs. the RC18T but I can't be positive. Just try to keep on eye on how hot your motor gets.

actually the reverse it true grg. Since you'll be running a taller tire the truck will have a higher top speed. This is because the "rollout" is longer. What that means is that one revolution of the MT tire will move the truck a little further than one revolution of the smaller tire because the MT tire has a larger circumference (distance around the perimeter). So at any given motor speed the truck will travel further with the MT tire. Obviously anytime your travel further within a given amount of time you are traveling faster. The downside is that you will lose a bit on the acceleration side of things. The truck won't be as punchy from the get go. The MT tire changes of overall gear ratio a tad so you lose a bit of torque, which is most noticeable at lower speeds. hope this helps..

this is the type of comment proving you haven't even read this thread and just want to voice an opinion on something...please read the thread before posting a comment based on the title.....

I don't think the pinion is different either grg, but something that is worth getting is one of those pinion gear packs so you can try different setups.....I think it's the evil integy stuff but it's cheap and they work for the mini stuff.....

ill look and see, where can i pick up one of those packs online?

and its the smaller the gear, the faster the exceleration and the larger, the higher top speed correct?
