And it's quite sloppily cut as well, or maybe the dog mauled the meat......which would explain it's absence. :hehe:

cutttin was poor but i mean poop when u dont have the right tools for the job you use what you got.it has been trying for 5 hours now. ass steak will be good.next time i make some I'm thinking of using some crawwfish boil as a dry rub for the few thats knows what I'm talking about.

Lol. I was talking about the cut before you put a knife to it. :) Sorry if I gave the impression I was criticizing your work.
 
Rump roast, cow ass, butt steak, hind quarter? What ever, it's still an ass.

The dog is just fine. Here he is preparing the duck sauce.....

you could have cut it in a more appealing way. At least a uniform cut or something.



how does it taste?



This is the recipie i go by. just in much smaller quantities.

• 8 tbsp paprika
• 3 tbsp cayenne
• 5 tbsp fresh ground pepper
• 6 tbsp garlic powder
• 3 tbsp onion powder
• 6 tbsp salt
• 2 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
• 2 1/2 tbsp dried thyme
