If there's a way to fix it, if its in failsafe or I've done something incorrectly, plz do post up what will fix it & do the trick. I've tried everything. Channel check & swap. Voltmeter. Batteries. Trims. D/R knobs. Factory motor re-set to ESC, HW procedure, that tested fine. Go back to the original esc & motor - zlich.

It works, I've got one on my Ecto. I think @332_RC should buy another Ecto to try it out on. 😜
This is frustrating because he has done everything right, and everything I can think of, except for swapping the receiver. Which is kind of a shot in the dark.

So you're saying it worked with the old esc/motor, but now it doesn't?

Did you try unplugging the servo and recalibrating?

What is the BEC set to? What voltage does your servo handle?

If you plugged that servo into to more voltage than it can handle and it fried it, this exact situation can happen. A bad servo can cause the Rx to go into failsafe as well. Nothing will operate.

It's likely either your servo is bad, or your Rx took a dump. But it could be a bad ESC or a bad Tx as well. The only way to solve these problems is swap out components one at a time til you find the culprit.

Also, some radios do not bind/calibrate well if too close to the Rx.

Yep. Stock 6.0v servo. Same one. Yes. Unplugged it, tried it, nothing. Swapped ch, nothing. 6.0v rx, 6.0v stock servo.
It won't calibrate under any dozen combinations I've tried. The rx will not flash into bind mode when I plug in the bind plug, tx is off.

Replace the Rx

And that one can do multiple models, just add another rx?
Yup. 10 models. And if ya buy the Rx's like 5 at a time, they are around $7 each or so.

Alright I got my Gorgon out & plugged the original Reedy ESC & motor that came in the Ecto into the THR port on the Gorgon, just loose, on the table. Works fine, as it should, forward & reverse. I guess the old saying 'Ran when parked' applies to the RX in the Ecto. It sat on the shelf for while & worked last time I ran it. I'll get a new receiver for it. Thanks everyone.

I got it! I have power! Got a new receiver. A ECX13009 4ch. $15. Must be a rebrand of a Team Associated XP-R4, which is what was in it. After some searching on the ECX forum & the net, I found that it will pair/bind with a Team Associated XP-130 radio. It did, no problem. Plugged up the factory Reedy brushed motor that came with the Ecto, worked no problems. So I plugged up the Hobbywing Fusion SE & did the pair, throttle calibration procedure. Worked 1st try. Whew!

It was yes, but she goes! It's pouring rain out, so I ran it around the house & it's so cool! Lots of power & slow crawl! Great precision! Set the steering link & endpoints, good to go! Battery is a little low, but it crawls really well! Happy dance!
