My Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800kv won't throttle calibrate. I did exactly like the instructions read. Hold power button 3 sec, it flashes, then should beep beep beep then flash green & then do the calibration. Which is press ON once in neutral, flash green, same holding in forward & reverse. Then it should be complete. After holding 3 sec, it flashes once green, then constantly red. No beeps. I tried 3 different batteries. Checked battery voltage. Replaced transmitter batteries. Watched YT. Mine doesn't go into the green flashing like it should signaling its ready to be calibrated. What'd I miss? Brand new sealed combo.

Triple checked the ESC channel plug that it's plugged in correctly & in correct port. The receiver is the stock Team Associated Reedy XP-R4, ESC in ch2 & servo in ch1.

Tried the ESC & motor that came in it. Nothing. Tried the manual instructions to bind. Won't go into bind mode. This one has a bind plug jumper. Followed instructions. Nothing. Is receiver toast?

Ran across this, may or may not help:
Upon initiating automatic motor paring making the Fusion reboot itself, I kept the pinion gear engaged on to the spur gear. BIG mistake. In order for the Fusion to reboot completely is to let the motor spin freely, ie pinion gear must not engaged on to the spur gear. That's it! The throttle calibration worked out flawlessly.

I even tried that. Still nothing. 😟

Did the receiver work with the stock ESC and motor before taking everything apart to install the Fusion?

if you're putting the bind plug on the correct pair of pins and it's not entering bind mode, then it must be toast BUT nothing you've done would have toasted it...so that doesn't make much sense.

Do you have channel 1 and channel 2 connected correctly? ESC goes to channel 2. Steering servo goes to channel 1
