this is just a prototype truggy, better parts will come available as they keep working on the final version....
 
BCE uses an aluminum deck with their CRT chassis, it's stronger and the weight is negligible. On the CRT there's actually a bit of flex up top there and it kind of affects braking. Also like said, it's a proto
 
lessen, most ppl are starting to shy away from CF as there is currently a world wide shortage, alu is pretty light imo

id be happy to use alu in any of my trucks/buggies
