I've been picking away at my Axial Ryft and one of the parts that i want to change is the hex nut behind the wheel. The stock part is plastic and I'm not crazy about that so a set of brass seems to be a necessary purchase. One of the issues I'm having with finding a set is the the diameter of the stub axle. I've found lots of 12mm hex adapters but most of them are made for 1/10 scale crawlers whose stub axles are smaller than whats on the Ryft i believe. Any advice or knowledge would be appreciated

if your getting brass then if you own a drill then use that or a Dremel or even a body reamer

I can't find any after market parts for the Ryft. You might want to try calling axial and ask them if any of there other kits have compatible hexes and then hop you can find some for that kit.

Vitavon and Dhawk are making aluminum parts for the RBX10 now. Ordering any set of brass hexes and drilling them out to fit if needed seems like the best rout. I'm still waiting for the rear sway bar links. They're pre-ordered and wont be out till next month some time. Its a fun buggy but its tippy. A set of proline powerstroke xt shocks and the sway bar might make all the difference in the world.
