I have been having real bad half tank lean issues. I seen a video that shows that taking the fuel line that goes to carb off..seal that outlet on the tank..then drill a hole on bottom of tank and inserting a new fuel outlet fitting and then running to the carb from the bottom. Any experience with this mod..I have ordered what I need..was just hoping for feedback. Thanks

I havent done it,but it might work,never know until you try.
You might want to put some type of apoxy on the threads of the nipple.
 
I know the new one comes with a gasket. I just hope this works. I don't know why..but the htl is terrible.
