Hey new member, I have a SCX24 with a purple viper motor and a 6CH Transmitter. So everything is connecting but then when I go to use my remote, it wont take any of my controller inputs. Anybody got any ideas what could be wrong?

Is the receiver compatible with the transmitter? of so have you tried rebinding it?

Which transmitter (controller/remote in your hand) and which receiver (device in the vehicle) is it? Did it come with instructions?
•Start with fully charged or brand new batteries in both vehicle and the transmitter.
•Always turn on the tx (transmitter) first then the car
•make sure everything is plugged in correctly according to polarity

Can you link a video through YouTube? This could help us see what you have going on. Some pictures will help.

So I walked through the manual. My transmitter only wants to run off of the trim adjustments. So when I move my throttle trim it will move, but when I try to use the trigger or steer it wont let me without using the trim knobs.
Post a pic of your trim knobs
👆 🤷‍♂️😂

They are all set to zero

Yes I have, it has the purple viper motor with the tunable esc. I went through and tuned everything while watching a youtube video explaining what to set everything on and how to do it.

Sorry if it seems like we are asking basic questions, but it's the only way we can narrow it down. So far sounds like you have gone through the proper motions, but sometimes there is something silly that gets over looked, been there done that.

Gotta ask, have you tried turning up the bottom trim knob for the throttle (bottom left)to see if it changes anything?

So the left dial switches the wheel to make the car go front and back. The right one makes the trigger do the steering. With those at 0 there’s no input.

Are the bottom dials travel adjustment? If so, your throttle and steering are both set to 0 travel. In other words, no input. They should be at 100% if they're travel adjusters.
Yep, I think so too.

That sounds odd. The bottom dials are end point adjustments for throttle and steering. Throttle should be at 100 and steering needs to be adjusted for max steering without binding.
