installed the Injora ir40 on my ascent18

Just finished fitting this Injora ir40 on my redcat ascent 18. Love the look so far. It was well due, running 1.3 wheels with Injora swamp claws on this rig they seem huge and had all types of rubbing issues with the stock body so I had to hack it all up. It was not pretty. Has anyone seen anybody that has modified the ir40 and somehow added and bed floor to it? That's the only thing that doesn't look right to me. I feel like it needs a bed floor. Thinking about cutting the bedcover from the stock body in the shape to fit the bed of this and somehow try to use it for a bed floor. Just brain storming let me know what you all think?

i love that idea, but i see you have some wires in the bed, putting a flat bed there could cause some clearance issues, when i put an interior in my bronco i ran into that issue.

Yeah I finished fitting the body and immediately snapped these photos. I have the electronics all scattered and spaghettied everywhere from working on it. So in theory I could route all wiring elsewhere. Hmmmm I have a couple ideas I'm gonna play with. I'll update with photos once I have something of substance for a prototype to show. And thanks bro I love it. I've always been a Toyota fan anyways and these old FJs are just sweet.

Looks great, scale looks much better with a larger body. I think a bed liner will look better.

I know very little about crawlers. Nothing to add but that that truck looks GREAT!!! I LOVE that color!!!

Had a little time to play with building a bed cover/floor. Here's my first prototype anyways. I think I may be on to something if I can find a solid way to mount it good.
