Howdy y'all and I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I am completely new to doing a scratch build. I've only changed parts out up to this point. I am doing a build currently, and after installing the axles I then tried to install the brass wheel hex and pin onto the shaft...no go! It's like the hex doesn't sit far enough down on the bearing (or the bearing sits to high but that doesn't seem the case) and is causing the hole for the pin to be slightly lower so the pin will not slide through to hold the hex in place. I tried all four corners, and they all seem to be the same. These are, as far as I know, standard Injora axles for a scx24. Though these did come in a yellow and black box instead of a red and black box!? Any suggestions, tips, or "Hey dummy do this" lol!!? Thanks in advance!!

Pics? I have made some blunders when it comes to SCX24 axles. Broken screws, tightened the wheel nuts too tight, etc. Let us know what you figured out so the next guy might find an answer.

After quite some time I sat and looked and looked and fiddled and was pretty annoyed. I was getting ready to leave it for a few when it just hit me. I literally said out loud, "you gotta be kidding me" and I laughed. I simply had the hex nuts backwards!

Oh boy! That's HILARIOUS! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

But every mistake teaches ya a lesson you'll likely never forget 😉

😂 I had the hex nut backwards! I was simply looking at it wrong.
I would love to say I've never done something like that, but my mama told me I'm not allowed to tell lies. 🤣
