Help what are these called

Quick question, I'll delete it right after someone answers (unless you tell not to).

What are these? I attach them on the long metal rod that serves as brake links and throttle links.

Looks like some sort of keeper or stop.

If you have the parts diagram, you should see a part number that can be referenced.
