ok, so i need something like a hex wheel hub rounded off so i can use it as a brake disc on the axle on my turnigy 1/4 go kart. from memory the axle is 8mm round and i would like the outside of this to end up being 20mm or so.

i will be using a alloy cb shoe or something similar to push against the steel "disc" which will in turn stop the kart.

can anyone help me out in the machining side of things or link me up to a part i could use.

any help will be much appreciated.

ps, if this could be around 20mm wide also so that the brake pad doesn't go over the hole that would be even better. doing this with a pin through the axle would also be handy
Not sure if the image is showing but here's a link to one also
