jon2 said:Just had to pop in here cuz I know blazer and SR... HONDA'S ROCK THE SCENE!!!!! Honda came in first into the scene and everyone else just followed. Granted to SR and Blazer, Nissans are awesome. I have always wanted a 180sx, Better look to them. I too have looked into them quite often. I seem to find more parts and have connections to getting parts for my Honda EF9...

Lessen said:No, unfortunately I'm not. It's called wheel hop. It happens when the drive tires can't get grip but also don't spin out. So they basically do both on and off real quick. they grip and slow then slip then grip then slip and it'll keep happening until you back off the throttle to find the grip to keep the tires down and actually move the car. While this is happening the tires want to "jump" and the suspension has a hard time keeping the tires on the ground, thus creating a "hop". In a FWD car it makes the entire front end feel like it's gonna fall apart. Better suspension and tires can reduce the issue but I have no plans on turning my mercaptin smelling civic into a pimped ricer.
