help!! idle problem wont stay still

put in a new trx 3.3 in my tmaxx cause the last one over revved and blew the piston and con rod so i just bought a new engine on ebay since new one was put in car has been making strange sound when pulling away like a high pitched screech not extemely loud but noticeable now car will not idle without crawling along and constanly makes that sound if i hold the brake it just cuts out could somebody please tell me what could cause this thank you

A broken clutch spring will do that. Spin the gears by hand, there should be almost no resistance there. If there is resistance then pull the engine and remove the clutch bell, you should see a broken clutch spring.

spot on mate took of the clutch bell and there it was a broken spring thanks
