HELP i dont know what to do

ok so i have been looking at the saveg XL and i have hear some good about it and some bad. i have also been looking at the mgt8.0 heard lots of good about it. I'm just worndering what would you get if you were gona get one of these 2.

i agree. I'm friends with the guy at my LHS. he owns a MGT 8 and a savage XL(lucy bastard).
he recomends the savage XL to everybody. he thinks its better on all levels.

The Savage is a very good & sturdy truck. You can't go wrong with it.

The MGT 8.0 is pretty much the sametruck but with a few changes. I believe it is a great truck if it endures the same as it predecessor.

The Savage Xl.. looks cool. Any engine bigger than a 28 IMO is just made for grunt and nothing more. Don't expect speed record. I do expect it to be as tough as the Savages made before it.

why not? everything on it is tougher. thicker TVPs, bigger arms, bigger motor... it has tough written all over it.


all right, story time. behid my lhs is a construction site where they are building some motel. there is a big dirt hill where they had built. about 30 FT high. he took his MGT8 and his xl out and i bought my 4.6. he hit it with his mgt and it broke the left front arm. i hit it twice with my savy and i bent the TVPs. the xl, hit this jump 4 times and then he landed wrong and somehow broke the gas tank.

Dont know about the MGT 8.0 but the savage is one tough truck!!!

I have had the savage 25 and the original MGT. Both had great capabilities to be strong bashers. BUT Every RC breaks. there is no bullet proof RC.

Both look good, price and support would help sway my decision.
