Well, I made it back last night from the Big Easy. A good time was had by all. I am going to miss the food and atmosphere. The headaches I could do without... but it was an interesting few days to say the least! We were there for St. Patty's day which was a blast and I can't believe how busy the streets were. I can only imagine what things are like during Mardi Gras! The smell however takes some getting used to and it was an adventure of odors that we encountered on our way to breakfast every morning as they scrubed the sidewalks and streets! Still it was an experience and worth the trip. Now excuse me while I go burn my shoes! LOL

It's wild that everyone is outside in the early morning scrubbing the sidewalks with Mr. Clean and a brushes.... Then you have the street sweepers running around. On Sunday morning as we headed to the Oceana for breakfast, there was pile of beads on the sidewalk 3 ft tall and about 4 ft wide! LOL

Sorry we didn't get to meet up for that beer while you were down here. Was an extremely busy weekend for me. Hopefully you will get to come back down one day and see Baton Rouge and actually see the non crappy part of my fine state. Lol

No worries bro! I know NO is a bit of a drive from Baton Rouge. We did not rent a car, we either took a cab or walked everywhere. I would have met you and to have seen more of the area, but we were there for a bachelor party and even if I had of run in to you... one of two things would have happened... you would have arrested me or I would not remember running into you! Or maybe both! LOL!
