Well Guys, the time is almost here. My best friend is getting married and we are heading to New Orleans on Thursday for his bachelor party. We are staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel and it lookis like it is right on Bourbon Street. I have never been to New Orleans before so if you guys have any suggestions for things to do while down there that would be great. We are flying down which I am not looking forward to... I hate to fly but hopefully I will have a good time while there.

Tom

Just make sure you stay on the main streets. There is some bad parts in nola

I just went a few weeks ago for mardi gras an had a blast

Go to the colorful lights! For sure! Anything that symbolizes a rainbow, check it out! Lol

I haven't really had any time in New Orleans, so I can't really help. I would make it a bit harder for Alpine to find you by keeping away from Baton Rouge. Enjoy your trip and have fun at the bachelor party. Remember no drugs for the mule.

Is it booby season down there yet?

Have fun man!

It's always booby season on Bourbon!! Bring a camera but don't capture your own shenanigans, you need it to record the ones you see. If you have never been to Bourbon I want to warn you about the smell, it can't be described. You will get it the strongest if you happen to be on it early Sat or Sun morning when all the bars are hosing the sidewalks down.

Yikes... that doesn't sound good!

I was worried that Alpine might lock me up and throw away the key... but he is a bit far from New Orleans right? I hear he likes to use the taser! LOL

Nothing like the smell of pee on a 100 degree day...

You are gonna have a blast Tom. It's a beautiful city with some wonderful people. Just stay away from the voodoo ladies...

You will have a blast man, it's just like any other major city, use common sense and you will have a fun and safe trip. I just brought up the smell because it really completes the experience lol, I was born and raised right across the river from NOLA so Bourbon was a weekend occurrence.

Driving the speed limit he can be on Bourbon in an hour an twenty minutes...40 minutes with the swirly lights on!

25 minutes if he drives like me...... I don't drive fast, I fly low.

Right!! No roofies!! LOL
I don't know why they call 'em roofies... you are more likely to end up on the floor than on the roof. They should call them floories........or rapies.

Oh well have fun and don't get arrested.....only did that once.

We have already established that he will be buying me a beer down here for immunity. :)

I will bring you any beer you like! LOL

Definitely don't want to get arrested for stealing a police car!
