Well, with both my jammin buggy and my jato, I'm running digital servos for the steering. I'm running my old 1100Mah revo pack in the jato and a well used 1200Mah Intelect pack in the buggy.

After about 3-4 tanks run through either, I get intermittent servo death. It just started this season and I don't recall the issue last year. The packs seem to take the appropriate time to charge and seem the right temp when peaked.

At first I thought it was a switch issue on the buggy, so I tore it down, cleaned it, inspected the switch and it seems fine. But, I went out and ran it and it seemed fine for a few tanks, then started the glitching again. The jato did the same thing.

Both packs are 2+ years old. My guess is that they are dead.

So, I have a bunch of AA's around, so I'm making packs out of those and I'll figure a way to install them. One pack is 2050Mah Duracell's, the other is 1800Mah Duracell's. Anyone think they won't be able to keep up with current flow for digital servos? Keep in mind, I'm running one digital and one analog.

Any input would be appreciated.

Well I know Mugen is selling AA cell receiver packs in the 2500mah rating. They work extremly well and last a long time. As long as the cells are in good condition I think they will be fine.

I installed on in my jato last night, it seems to work ok on the bench. Hopefully my problem was dieing packs... I'll take it out tomorrow hopefully and get a few tanks through it to see if the problem comes back.
