RC Driving Style
Man, today was a real ride. My 2 compadres were gone on a road trip (work) and I was stuck in the shop with 3 quasi-idiots driving me up the wall. Lunch rolled around and I fired up the savage. Less than 10 minutes later my hex drive on the brake was round and the disk was floppy. I guess it was the heat and humidity, but I had no brakes. Off to the LHS. Got the HB metal disk, but failed to find a hex hub (had one on the old savage, but that was at home). Got back to work, slugged it out for 4 more hours and hauled ass home. Tore apart both ass ends to get at the brake and put the HB disk on. Ate dinner, finished mounting the camera and booked to the local comm col (the campus cops are pretty cool about the R/C stuff). Took the video, removed the cam, blew out one brake pad. Tore the ass end off again, CA'd the pad to the metal caliper, reassembled, and ran till the light gave out. Came home, dumped the vids, recompressed them, uploaded them and posted a thread. whew. Now I have to re-bearing the diffs in the old savage and my friggin day will be complete, good thing tomorrow is payday, I need some more parts.

You take your R/C out at lunch time. That's cool. I want to do that. This neghborhood is full of welfair bums and crack heads. I don't want to leave my R/C in the car. I was thinking about getting a hauler bag and toting it into work. how do you do it? Leave it in the car?

I dont leave my RC's in my truck without my 2 Pittbull bitches. No one seems to want anything out of my Truck when those ladies are in it.

  • I hear that HB. Its great when you can pull up to a store and leave your car running with the windows down. Everybody seems to keep a 10ft distance!!! lol (heres my security system)...

I'm still really tore about it but I had to put the 2.5 yr old blonde one to sleep last Thursday. She had killed 2 cats about a month and half ago and got the taste for blood. So I'd come home and she had attacked the brown one. Now the Brown one can kick her ass but loves her so isnt trying to kill her but the blonde one just wanted blood after the cat incedent. Its been a tough week and I dont think I have ever had to make a decison that hard before. She was part of our family and slept in our bed. I know I'm a puss but I still want to tear up when I look at her pics.

damn those dogs look like they could tear a cat a 3 A**holes. I gonna get a bull terrier in like a month (the ones with the football shaped heads).

The "spuds" dogs are sweet if thats what your talking about. Iwant to get one myself. I think I need to wait awile before I get another puppy though.

Damn HB they are beautiful. Sorry to hear about the blond one. I went through the same thing with a red red nose female about 4 years ago. Anyways, great taste in dogs. I will never own any other breed than a Pit Bull Terrier.

The brown one is sweet...she is friends with cats. The blonde one I adopted @ 1 yr old and her previous owner trianed her to get cats and instilled a lot of bad behavior me and my fiance tried to break for a long time. It just wasn't working. If you are a pittbull owner you have to be responsible and not instill violent beharior in them. If the time ever came where protection they would do it without training so when people train them to be aggresive its a real bad situation. Growing up in the city in a famous Ghetto area I was exposed to so many pitbulls and learned a lot about the breed. There are define do's and don'ts with the breed you just have to be a responsible owner. People who raise pitts for gaming I got a real problem with.

"spuds" are exactly what I am talking about (the budwieser dog). got to wait till the mom gives birth which is some time soon and then got to wait for them to be ready to leave can't wait.

Is that dog on the front page the blue one?? that dog looks hella ripped. awsome, where are the prices

humboldt, sorry to hear about your dog man. There is nothing wrong with having feelings. That doesn't make you a female pee pee. Dogs are good companions. They are very affectionate and love you unconditionally. Around here, we have ticks that carry lime disease. We really can't have a dog because they have to poop outside. We have two cats.

How would you get a dog from Georgia? They fly it to you?

:OMG: 800+200 damn I'm going to get my spud for 50 friends are the best

My dog is a tripple grand champion, both UKA and AKC. She is very smart and a good working dog. With Pitts breading is EVERYTHING!!! You want it done right or you end up with the "junk yard" pit that everyone stero types.

true about the junkyard thing, thats hella dumb they think that dobermans, rots, pits, and sometimes spuds, theres a few more that I can't remember; are savages that attack people for no apparent reason which is total b.s. Like when they made such a big deal about when Budwieser unleashed Spuds Mckenzie. F*ck stereotypical people.
