I was around 8 or so when they debuted. I loved it for the metal music. Then by the 90"s music videos were pretty much non-existent.
Nowadays, I'm surprised that it's still somehow relevant.

Holy crap, Now I feel old if you were only 5! I remember waiting for two weeks for MTV to launch!

Having to pay to extra for MTV2... does anyone? Who buys music anymore? I can't even remember the last CD I bought... probably Breaking Benjamin's 2004 We Are Not Alone album.
