Are Berg axles significantly lighter than the Bully ones?

Congrats Brando, I miss my bergs :(

Your steering should work just fine, might have to roll the plate back a little for the horn to clear the tierod but it should be good...

Oh hell yes. The bare axles don't weigh much more than losi ones.

Thanks man. I would like to find a way to stand the servo up but I suck at fabbing lol.

Well I got my other pinion today 13T so now I have 2 12's and a 13 hope a 12 and 13 will be a good combo. Still waiting on everything else though.

Yeah you should be good with that, although there was a time when I ran 14t upfront with 12 in back but hopefully you will be good with a 13. Your links shipped out tuesday btw. Are you gonna pickup some lockouts for the rear? I liked the Fubars pretty good and they were pretty cheap.

Ya I am trying to decide what ones to get. I decided against the JP ones cause people say they have a lot of slop and screws come out all the time. What about the CKRC ones? I hear they come with axles too...

Thanks for the links man. Now I just need to order the chassis. I am getting the EEM body mount kit as well.

For sure. I got my servo case today and its all put together now. Going to mess with the steering a little but can't do it all until it gets all the way together.

Ordered my SNG chassis, Body mount kit, Traxxas Aluminum big bore shocks and 4 white losi springs hope it will do well...

Well here is a couple poser pics lol.

Got my rims today and painted the rings (donno how long that will last) I had to drill them out a little to fit the berg hexs and they still dont sit right. I think I will get some different hexes. I just threw it on the mantis to see how it works. I dont like it very much and my steering SUCKS!!! Someone give me ideas for it lol Its ok turning left but right it sucks. When I dig it almost goes straight. Anyway here are a couple pics...

Put some more pics of the steering, I wanna see better as to what your working with. The CK kit works pretty good and I see now they updated the tierod to alot thicker version.

I heard a lot of people complaining about the earlier versions. I will post pics of it here in a few.

Yeah its cuz the tierods where thin, mine bent fast! But their heavy duty now.

Ya I read that they are steel and thicker now. I think I will go with that kit including knuckles so I dont have to hunt down the VP ones.

Actually if you use their kit, the VP knuckles make it tow in pretty good, so you will be better off with their knuckles anyways...are you gonna clock your front axle?

I dont think so I am more leaning toward the kit that 86jeep sells but it doesn't work with a clocked axle. But everyone says that clocking it makes it bind up and stuff. I dont think I will that way I can run his kit with VP knuckles. Here is a couple pics of it...
