i bought one of these trucks in december and i love the truck but just a few problems.i went down to my local bmx track today with my mate who bought along his savage 25.the storm goes very well.problem is i'me forever running out of fuel does'ent last very long and when i got home and started to clean it, i noticed i had bent the main servo bar that is attached to the steering,so does anyone know a stronger upgrade for that and if i can put a bigger tank on it.where can i get them from, here in the uk seems to be hopeless.thanks.:hi:by the way whats the best way of getting it clean and with what.

To get it clean use some Denatured Alcohol. I have some and it kicks ass. Need a little more info on the servo before I help. What part of the servo did you bend. Like did you actually bend the servo itself or the servo horn . The part that the steering linkage hooks up to that rides on the servo gear??

the part that bent on my truck is the steering plate that goes across the front and connects to turn the wheels.i've put it back straight but it's just going to bend every time i go over some bmx jumps,so it's try too strenthen it or go for upgrade to something stronger.thanks for reply newnitrofan.:w00t:

Look at the GS Storm Pro buggy parts for replacements. You will find that all of them fit except for the conversion parts.
Hardcore has a ti one that may be stonger than stock.HCR

hi strechm ,the servo it's self is fine it's just the steering plate that bent, just had a look on that web site u said,i got in touch with gs and thats the one they said too go for and said i could put two together for extr strength, that would be a £50 up grade in the uk,i also asked them if they did a bigger fuel tank for longer run time, but they don't so it's down to the lhs where they sell a 2oz clunk tank to connect up to my tank.buy the way how's yours running.

I started the breakin last weekend and hopefully I'll be able to take it out again soon. The jury is still out so to speak.

what do u think of it up to yet

it's a great truck on the bmx track.my mate came with me and bought his savage 25 along.oh what fun.

I have had it on the pavement only and running in very rich conditions. So I can't say if it's a good one or not. I'm assuming that it is with all of the hoopla going around. Hopefully the weather will be decent this weekend.

I started the breakin on a large asphalt area at a school close to home.
