:banana:ok heres the deal i was heading to a hobby shop to get a used MLST this morning and stopped in at my LHS and ran across a RC10GT with what supposed to be a blown .15 and a brand new AE .12 with it ,well i got a deal i will just say that .lol
so i brought it home and was getting ready to finish the .12 install and decided to look over the 15 and here they had the backplate on wrong and was bond tight against the crank ,not that tight that it bent or anything just wouldn't allow it to move
the guy that had it has since passed away they were selling per permission from widow to get what they had into it new motor and few parts .
anyway i cleaned up the 15 and it is fine excellent compression and all just stained from what looked like blue thunder fuel.
what i am asking this is the first AE gt i ever own and no manual with it
:ponder2:
what are the stock setting for the AE .15 ?
what is the stock setting for the balll diff ?
and should i ditch the stock oval shape filter for a motor saver?
what plugs should i use?
i like OS #8 and or #5's it calls for MC59's but my hobby shop will not order any in unless i buy a whole card they carry the OS's and some other new plug with the iridium coil i think lol

think that about it sorry for rambleing but wanted to share my good find and all
thanx in advance

Hey cool truck I just picked up the same truck. I use the OS A3 plug. I'm a nitro newbie. I have the whole manual, I can probably scan the pages and email them to you. My truck has an aftermarket paper filter with the black foam around it.

sneaker if it is a K&N type filter ditch it man ,they are good on a 1:1 car but never on a nitro the filament is too course and will not keep dirt out

MW pm sent man thank you

Its not oiled so I assume its not KN, its just paper with the black foam. Should I go with the motor saver brand?

well oiled or not i ditch and get the motor saver liek you said man
sounds like a very cheaply made filter i would not chance it

The paper filter element AE air filter Keeps dirt out better than any other filter I've owned. Plus if you need to replace the paper filter its cheap, its the carb fuel filter out of a 85 Chevy Pickup or NAPA fuel filter 3044.
