I am going to take the plunge into the world of competitive 1/8 buggy racing. I have been looking at the Hyper 8, Jammin Factory Team and the Mugen MBX5. I know the Kyosho 777 MP 2 and MBX5 Prospec are the best, but I am not willing to spend the money on those yet until I get good enough to notice the difference. Which of the three above is the best bang for your buck and the easiest to find parts for?

for the Money the Jammin. Similar parts as to the prospec but not the hefty price. Jammin has parts for days from Ofna or try your local LHS.

It was a toss up for me between the Jammin and the Prospec. I'm glad I got the Prospec, but there are more and more peple running Jammins now and I would've had more local support going with the Jammin. BTW, A Main hobbies has the Jammin' FTE for $519.99. That's about the cheapest I've seen anywhere, but you may want to see what RushRC can do for you.

the XB8r or even the new TQ are supposed to be the lowest priced top shelf cars lately....I love the XB8 myself.....super tough....I think you can get the XB8R for under 450 now.....second I'd say the MBX-5......both great rigs couldn't be dissapointed w/ either I'd say...
