A better question than will your Rc pull a vehicle is will this thread EVER die..

Nope it won't die...Why you ask?
Because there are a select few that will continue to spam the poop out of this post..With dum ass posts And one liners.

I said a week, did you read the thread?

All I've done is a couple of trail runs to see what I'm up against.
I'm doing this either tomorrow, or sunday.
Sit tight, the video will come.

.

Ya I read it front to back ,back to front
Don't get your pantys in a bunch...I was just pointing out that your thread was getting the poop spamed out of it...On all ends

What? Humor and one liners aren't allowed? Ok, more on topic: I think it's possible. With the right gearing, and the right engine. Small tires, to reduce the gearing even more... max traction. It's been done.....

whatever, I thought you were complaining of lack of a video when I said that it'll be coming in roughly a week, no prob tho.

this is when I can get more than myself to help pull. When I snapped the tranny, I pretty much knew it's gonna take more than that to pull my 1:1

That's what makes me want to use the buggy.

I can gear that lower than the savage
AND the weight's about the same.

I have no clue why but I have been thinking about this and I think the problem lays with just getting the truck moving at the start Once it's moving even a little It might be possible to pull it so I think you are going to have to put quite a bit of slack in the tow rope. And like you said air the tires up as much as you can . One more thing that might help is to add weight to the buggy . that will make it jerk a little harder at the end of the slack probley giving you two parts of a buggy. Maybe stick 1 or 2 rocket engines on it aswell I still don't see this working but I'm still rooten for ya .

I say a video will not be posted.

I should have deleted this spam bucket!

I still should.

I put it on a force probe and it takes 314.22 Newtons to get the truck moving, and then 263.83 Newtons to keep it moving. It's gonna take slicks and definitely more than one savage to do it.

My savage only does 162.09 Newtons of force. So, two or three should do it. If I can get them chained together the truck should move.

wow, very scientific. maybe start with a smaller car. Geo Metro? I thought about pulling myself in a wagon with my Savage.... that might be cruel and unusual abuse of an R/C, though.

314 newtons?

would that be fig or apple newtons? ...& after that many of them will you still feel like doing anything?

but seriously this is very iratating having people pop up saying they will try it and tape it

then 2 weeks later saying they wouldnt be doing it ...either do it then post the vid or stfu

What the hell is your problem, it has rained every sunday here for the past three weeks. Hold your water, I didn't start this thread if I didn't plan on doing it.

Get your finger off the delete trigger just because you have that privelege now. Same old ratzo, huh?

BTW: what does stfu mean?

stfu means "Shut the F*ck up". And I also wouldnt go barking up ratzos tree. He is a great person and a great asset to the site, so if your gonna try to start a little beef with him, my guess is your stay will be short. And wtf is the "Same Old Ratzo" suppose to mean? dudes been nothing but a gentleman and willing to help everyone since I got here.. Not to pee in your koolaid, but I think ya might have a "BustedGear" in the noodle if ya think he harrassing..

Also just my opinion and question is, Why would you make a thread about stuff your GOING to do? Why not do a thread after ya did it, and then there wouldnt be all the hype and wait. Thats somthing I never understood when people did it, but whatever I guess.
