Hey guys, I'm going to pull my 1:1 truck with an R/C. Not sure which one I'm going to use but it's going to be done.

If not only my truck, then maybe another, and another until the damn thing starts moving.

Its a 1996 mazda 2300, so it is feasable.

I GUARANTEE A VIDEO IN A WEEKS TIME.

ima make sure he does it. i know where he lives.. lol

lol, i hope he didnt get the idea from maxxfx.

Just make sure you get the vid up soon, or you'll get banned for causing a massive thread about spamming and flaming.

I could just see him sitting in his 1:1 ehind a Savage explaining to the cops exactly WHAT he was doing.LMAO, Good luck bro, this should be interesting!!

It's only a matter of time...

I dunno if you saw it Tweak, but there was a huge thread a little while back about someone who thought he could pull a 1:1 truck. He said he did but wouldn't tell anyone what he did to his R/C. Then he never posted a vid...

Good luck to ya bustedgears, but I won't believe ya until I see a vid.

I saw one in a magazine that pulled a Jeep. It was a Tamiya clod buster from the 80's. it did it, for 9 feet, before the gearbox gave out. Not sure where I saw that....

Either way he is prorably going to be replacing something before he is done...

That's where electrics are superior. They can make torque at zero rpm. for nitro, you need to slip the clutch to keep the revs up and in the power band. It's all fun and games until the clutch melts.

When I read the first post, I have to admit, I was laughing very hard.

Bustedgears. I will support your attempt as well.
Just get it on video.
If you do it or fail, get it on video.

Thanks

I'm going to attempt it with my savage. I geared it as low as I can with a 13t clutchbell, and a 52t spur gear. I tightened the slipper as tight as I can get it, but I know the clutch is going down.

I'm not going to just hammer it, but it'll take some time to get it moving.

Hopefully it works.

Where can I host a video for free?

yup, really bustedgears, as long as you dont get cocky about it, just take a vid either way. even if you dont succesfully do it, we just want a vid. There wont be any flaming from me either way.

rcpics.net

:trashed: You can host vids over at Putfile.com or Dumpalink.com Both are free and offer pretty good sizes. Make sure to paint the side of your truck with the "RCNT" Logo, so everyone knows where it came from.
