I use the Acme glow starter and the charger that comes with it. With a 3hr mains charge i get about 30 uses. Its all good.

I use a hobbico super hot rechargable(sp?). I can use it 40-50 times before it starts getting low.

just have a look on ebay. Thats what i did and i got a re-chargable 3000MaH glow start, it lasts long enough for 1-2 meetings

Dobro has goosd ones but can be $$$$$$$. I use power racing yellow one and it works fine. The only down side is it has a 12 hour charger. Can I upgrade to a faster one?

I like to use one with a replaceable sub C cell. These types of glow chargers can come with or without a meter. Mine was packaged with an 1100mah nicad cell but I replaced it with a GP 3700mah nimh cell. On a full charge I can easily go a few weekends without recharging it. I keep the 1100mah cell on hand in case the GP cell should ever die out. You can also get a glow plug charge lead for use with a multi-charger for faster charge times. Or make your own from the wall charger that comes with many units.

I also prefer a glow ignitor that has the spring type of attachment, rather than the twist lock type. The twist lock type will not hold on to certain brands of glow plugs.
