Getting started on the Tekno EB410.2 buggy

Finally getting started. I don't work very fast. I do this for relaxation and to keep my mind active. I'm an older guy (73) so I don't rip through anything anymore.
Got the front diff put together this morning. Using 15,000 in the front, 10,000 in the rear as per the instructions. (Which are very good by the way). Here's a couple pictures.

Before I got my b74 I was looking into this eb410 or the et410. Just couldn't beat the B74.1D for 300 dollars at the time. I started building it begining of this month, finished it as a roller last week and put electronics in over the weekend. Ordered my competition electronics last night so they should be here next week.

My B74 called for 10k both front and rear and 200k in the center. For shocks they called for 40 wt in front and 35wt in the rear.

Yeah, I be liking the quality so far. Temps were perfect in the garage this morning for working on this.

I built an ET410 about 10 days ago. I like it a lot. Tekno kits are really nice quality imo. The Team 2 WD buggy assembly was 2 days prior to the tekno.
The yellow Team buggy is so fast the tires are taking a permanent balloon to them, 1 rear and 1 front. 7700 rpm 2s motor geared tall. Built for sheer speed in 1/10 scale.

I bet the et410 is a good street basher. Like the anaconda wheels/tires. I have the anaconda tires with black wheels on my rustler.

I think the front or back tires on the red is running opposite direction?

I loved building my EB410.2.
Very easy to build, solid parts and not much needs to be upgraded, but obviously you do. Alu shock caps and servo horn are what everyone says to upgrade during your initial build, which I did. I also included carbon upgrades just because I could but you don’t need to, these are very sturdy in standard spec. Mines still a shelf queen due to various reasons but I’m looking forward to giving it a rip when better.

Its actually orange. I chose the bright orange color for high vis. I didn't think of "directional tires" to be honest. I will look into it. Simply a matter of flipping corners as I purchased 2 complete sets. I've had positive experience with the Traxxas Anacondas on concrete or asphalt in the past (on a nitro Jato and a pretty fast "modified" elect Rustler) , why I chose them for this rig.

That's the look they go for. The kits are Japanese inspired or designed. RC cars are a big thing/interest in Japan. I like it myself, it's a different or unique look. Tekno kits are known for being very well engineered and their execution/manufacturing. They use CNC 7075 AL chassis and some carbon fiber parts. The Associated kit was nice build, but the Tekno kit is a step up imo.

Super nice build there. Makes me want to purchase another Tekno 1/8 kit just for the pleasure of building it. But I need to cool it on the spending for a while. Man yours looks really cool, the body paint scheme!

Bag "E" - Rear End Assembly completed. Now on to Bag "F"- Rear Hub/CVA Assembly.

Now on to Bag G (Front end assembly). Really like how this is going together so far. Every part is a great fit.

Just for information purposes, I'm setting up the build in "stock positions" going by Instruction Manual.
