We are supposed to get snow this weekend, so I have taken my servos out of the truck and dipped them in Rustolium Grip & Guard textured rubber coating.........got it at the local hardware store for $6.00, I consulted some of the locals about doing this and was told not to completely submerge the servos as it could possibly get in around the horns and prevent the gears inside from moving but instead to just coat up to the screw tabs, as for the rx I am going to wrap it in a balloon. Hopefully I'll get my package from HPI tomorrow so I can play in the snow!

Yup, we had some snow hit some parts of washington state. Not where I am though :(...I got my snow tires on the 1:1 and am ready to do some hardcore bashing with the savage. We'll probably be getting snow tomorrow though.

It's sticking to the grass a little out here in Puyallup this evening, Kevin. Bonney Lake's been getting good snow all day today.

Yeah I heard bonney lake got snow. We saw a little snow today around 5pm or so...but it hasn't rained or snowed since.

lol, what's sad too is that i might go go karting at like 10pm

We had some good snow in Portland yesterday and are predicted to have some tonight I think but we will see.

We had some snow lasy week here in ohio for 1day. Did some snow bashing with the maxx.

Now its in the 50's again this week.. WTF... I'm ready for more snow. servos are waterproofex. and I'm ready to go.

No snow here yet. We did have a cold span of like 30ish degrees F or so.

The cold temps made my engine insanely lean. The engine temps weren't a problem of course (didn't get up over 210), but the LSN was just all out of wack on the idle. It was like reving. I ended up going 1/2 - 3/4 turns richer on the HSN and about the same on the LSN. After that, it didn't seem to want to get up over 190.

I don't think I'll be running in the snow, unless I get one of those thermal control heads to get the temps up. Running at low temps is hard on the engine.

Though I'd give you a heads up on the temp thing. Have fun. :)

It's just now starting to snow here, and I was hopeing to wake up and have a couple inches on the ground  oh well, by this afternoon the ground will be more than covered!

Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving........I had a wonderful meal with family and got to do a little snow bashing, man it was great! My savage was ripping it up thru about 4 inches of snow, just as long as I didn't stop I was ok, otherwise if I did and tried to go again it sank, but it was still a blast!

I used the plasticoat from the hardware store and it cracked all up in 1 weekends worth of bashing. It was warm, but had a touch of rain in the forcast, so i was trying to think ahead. It looked good and sealed until sunday night cleaning rolled around. Barely any of the stuff was still stuck on.

Just letting you know not to rely completely on it for more than a few hours.

We are expecting a Noreaster here in the tri-state this weekend. Can't wait to run the maxx in it.
