Future K4.6 Replacement to K5.9

I will eventually be putting a 3-speed tranny and K5.9 in my Savage X SS in place of the stock K4.6....Will i just need a new mount or is it the same?

Instead of a K5.9 Id look into getting a modded .28 from Robin at Extreme RC Mods. It will have way more powerful and more reliable than the 5.9

I have visited the web site. Do i need to buy then Picco .28 myself or do they have them available for order?...If so, i couldnt find them....only the section about getting them modded. Also, will my backplate for the Roto-Start fit on it?

I can't answer the question about the backplate. As for the Picco youd have to ask Robin. I believe he carries a couple of pre-modded engines like the rebadged LRP .28 spec 3s but I believe typically you send the engine to him to be modded. Send him an PM on here and ask him to make sure or send him an email from his website. Hes a cool guy and I'm sure he'll guide you in the direction you want to go in.
