I think one of those guys that were in the "picture in picture" was a guy by the name of Takeshi. Huge star over there, hosted Takeshis' Castle back in the 80s (now known as MXC on Spike, the character "Vic Romano").

Hilarious find - great thing to watch after a long day, lol.
