Is this still a renowned problem with the design.

I'd assume a company has addressed this problem thoroughly, would I be wrong to think that?

was that a reknown problem with the 1.0? I've know a couple of guys with Losi 8ights at the track and I've never heard them talking about wheel slop being a problem. granted they are all running 2.0's though. I'm interested to know if this is an issue with the 2.0's cuz also cuz I have a new one.

To my "extensive" knowledge it appears to effect both 1.0 and 2.0 Losi 8ight's.

A google such for "Losi 8ight wheel slop" or "losi 8ight front wheel play", you get more than just a few pages of results.

If you want to test for yourself Greywolf, just put your losi on a stand or starter box, (wheels off the ground) take your front wheels and begin to wobble them without manually turning the steering servo.. just a light wobble, try wobbling for caster, camber, and toe adjustment.

It's quite excessive on the 1.0 more than just a couple mil.. 3-4 mil from each wheel. I understand Rc cars have a certain amount of give, but this is gap space more or less :hehe:

Let me know your results greywolf.

I havent built my kit yet...That may be awhile. heh
