No one cares bout the Jeep and rav4, we just want the square body lol

what's fun is that truck is worthless in California. anything newer than 1975 has to be SMOG tested every 2 years. and whatever modification you put on the engine would have to be CARB approved. i see squarebody's all the time just sitting in driveways rotting away because nobody want's to deal with the regulations.

Hey! One of my friends live there! 😁
But I won't disagree.

It's probably my fault I talk so much crap about it everyone hates it. I've lived here for 40 years and it's changed completely. When we moved here my parents were telling how good the schools were, how safe it is, the drivers were polite and the weather is the best. 40 years later we still have the weather, but the rest is gone and it's all been taxed twice over.

Telling ya, Cali is not apart of the US but ... 🤷

Speaking of which, I have a prediction about Cali. In the next 50 years: San Francisco will secede from the union, Oakland will get kicked out and Berkley will forget about it.

Thats everywhere to be honest

iv lived in CA my whole life (I'm 41) hell even i remember all those things. hell i can remember driving to record stores (remember those) and leaving my car in the parking lot with the doors locked, but windows down for 40 minutes while i browsed and BS with employees, maybe bought a CD. went back out to my car, nobody had touched it! there were times id leave my car unlocked in front of my house all day and nobody touched it. did that over the weekend more than once. do that today and if you're lucky it'll get ransacked, if you're unlucky it'll get stolen. that's just the tip of the iceberg. i noticed it majorly shift in about 2005 and it's only gotten worse.

and at the rate it's going, CA won't exist in 50 years. it'll be some kind of dystopian Mad Max style anarchist dead zone. marshal law governed by mexican cartels and street gangs. and it won't take 50 years.

Sad but true.

If you leave your car unlocked these days, you might come back to find squatters living there!

Do they still have the 'prototype' reg or whatever they call it? In Maine, if your car came with Cali emmisions, its gotta keep them. This is the ONLY reason my focus isn't a 1 off, 5 spd 2.5l turbo sedan!
We have an antique reg that could possible side step some of that crap.
An exhaust for this car cost upwards of 1k. Magnaflow was closer to 3k if I recall correctly.
Thats just nonsense. And all so my 35m/gal 270k mile focus doesn't pollute the planet...
Really? Its me polluting the planet with the 35 miles a week that I drive in my 20 year old pzev???
I'll stop now. 🤣

Arm yourself before you can't.

we've got historical plates as well as you can get a special construction tag but they limit the number of those every year and they sell out early on day one. iv been lead to believe both have limitations. idk exactly.

no sense in arming yourself, CA is a right to flee state, you're not aloud to defend yourself or your property here, if someone breaks into my house and i shoot them i would get in more trouble than they would. if someone mugs me on the street and i stab them or beat them up, I'm in more trouble than the mugger. that said, i do keep a small aluminum baseball bat next to my bed, as well as a pretty good size knife. its gotten to be a craps shoot on rather or not the cops will show up when called so...

That's why after you defend your self, mulch the garden. Aluminum. Good choice
Has a distinctive pinging noise. 🤣🫠

Move here to fl. Some sheriff's here encourage you to defend your self and to reload again. 🤣
