Woohoo! Awesome! Just back from Belfast where David Coulthard was taking the F1 car up and down the front of the city hall right in the middle of the city.
What a noise! I have a video, so I'll put it on You Tube tomorrow when I edit it. Though due to crowds you don't get to see much, but you get to hear it.
He only had about 200 yards and managed to do 150mph. He said it was a little bumpy so he couldn't get the traction down to get out of second gear. 150mph in 2nd!
Of course he spent most of the time doing donuts in front of the crowd. One time I seen in particular the back of the car came literally 1 or 2 inches from the crowd barrier as it spun round when he promptly nailed it, dumped the clutch and smothered the crowd behind in exhaust fumes, tyre smoke and ... they must have been deafened.
