Hi everyone.
I just wanna ask ,does the cylinder/piston kit from Force 21 engine fit in a Hpi 21BB engine?
The conrod from Force fits both the S25 and the 21BB engine,
and cylinder/piston kit from Force 25 fits the S25 engine.
A rc dealer here in Denmark that imports Force parts, said to me that Force makes the Hpi engines,so many of the engineparts fit both ways,
if that's true it would be nice, becaurse Force parts are much cheaper than Hpi
parts here in Denmark.
An example:Hpi cylinder/piston/conrod cost in DKK 1375,-
The same parts from Force cost in DKK 600,-
Quite a difference ain't it.

I had a savage Hpi 21bb engine once and fit force cylinder liners, pistons and con rods off of the blue head and red head .21 engines with the old style threaded shaft for the screw on stub shafts. I forget the force engine model numbers but the blue head version had 4 ports: 2 boost ports and 2 transfer ports; the red head engine had 2 extra primer ports. Both fit the fit 21bb engine fine. The Force crank however was about 1 mm smaller in diam. at the main bearing and did not have the turbo cut and the bore was smaller than the Hpi 21bb. My hobby shop Golden Horizon in Richmond,BC, Canada has hundreds of these old new engines laying around, I got them cheap, so I use to do modifying experiments with force piston, sleeve, and con rod. I modifyed the Hpi 21bb block and crank. I used a 9mm venturi carb off of a Ofna Picco/Orion Wasp .26 engine. It was 94' winter screamer engine experiment. It made crap loads of power but kept blowing the rod until I put in a rod from an OS VZ99 engine. It all ended when the rod journal sheared off the crank so that ended the fun.

These force engines I used are atleast 10 years old, the con rod is not knife edged like the 21bb, and the sleeve and cylinder is not as clean as the 21bb.

I found the engine model numbers: E2101 Force 21R/ABC/Pro
or E2102 Force 21/ABC
or E2103 Force super 21R/ABC

sleeve #2104
piston #2105
con rod #2106

The pull start version parts are a direct fit too. That means the pullstart, back plate, one-way bearing, cammed center shaft in the backplate, rod journal center pin and, spring.
