About the only new trucks I wouldn't own is foreign or Dodges. I have owned a 2000 Ford Super Duty and now I currently own a 2003 Chevy 2500 HD with a Duramax and I think they are both great trucks. I have driven the Hemi and it has no power compared to the Duramax or any of the Diesels on the market. I regulary pull around 8000 pounds and have no problems pulling it with the Duramax. Also the axles under new Chevy and GMC trucks are manufactured by AAM axle and they are as stout or stronger then any Dana out there.
