Proline dual stage seems to be popular, and generally an improvement over stock foams. antifoams are interesting but a few bucks more.

What’s your preference?

I run whatever is going to give me the best performance for the tracks I'm on even ran no foams at all..

Ok, makes sense. In your experience what does one offer that the other does not? Are there specific advantages or are we comparing apples to apples

traction .rebound. Chassis roll the list goes on its a track specific thing. i ran carpet Calandra green back in the day with DDs no foam stuck like glue no traction compound allowed...it all adds up

Not to sidetrack this thread but where can I get some anti-foams? I'd like to give them a try. I like the proline dual stages but the outer stage does have a lot of sidewall roll. The anti foams look like they would allow less movement in that respect. And stay away from the knock off brand dual stages. The inner stage is ok but the outer stage isn't even round. Horrible quality.

With many aluminum wheels the tire insert slides around on the inner hub so you lose side wall support. I turned a groove in all mine so the hard proline inner foam which has a bump locks on to the wheel. If you don’t have a lathe you can cut the bump out of the foam and glue them in a couple spots.

I went with the dual stage from proline, I was impatient and they were readily available.

I’m experiencing a bit of slippage so I may have to try some glue or something. I also stuck a bunch of automotive wheel weights on the inner sleeve of the rim, so needless to say it was a snug fit. Very happy with the performance so far
