fishing line pull start

What a idea? I have bough a used Rustler with pull start. The previous owner used fishing line inside? Has anyone done it b4? If so, you have step by step direction? Thanks.

I've done it once, worked well except I made it too short but it never broke once I got it strong enough. Problem is... it's waaaaay to time consuming to be worth it. I don't remember what weight I used but I took 3 strands and braided it... wasn't strong enough so I did that two more times and then braided those... that worked well and still wasn't too bulky.

Just get a roto start

you can use the pull cord from a set of window blinds which hasnt broke on me yet.......i went through 3 pullropes from the hobbyshop before that
