I just completed my first lid. A friend of mine bougtht a crowd pleaser and wanted me to paint, so I gave it a shot. I don't have an airbrush, so I had to use Tamiya spray paint and masking tape. LOL. I won't make that mistake twice.
Could someone please help me post a pic. I would like some feedback on the outcome of this thing. Thanks

Thanks offroader. I figured it out.

I used Tamiya PS paint. I used a metallic blue, metallic red, black and white. Overall, I am fairly pleased with it, except the fact that masking tape doesn't do a good job of sticking in grooves and such on these types of jobs, but hey, it was a learning experience. Next time I will order some masking sheets. Thanks.

If you use masking tape use the blue colored tape. It is better for masking. To get the edges of the tape to adhere better in cracks and grooves, use a toothpick or a Q-Tip to make sure the edge of the tape is following the contours of the body.

That body it TIGHT man! the stripe down the middle looks awesome! The sides are kinda messed up, but who cares, I think it looks sweet. And, it looks like you got the marble effect on the top stripe lol nice.
