I will be starting to look at cars for my first car in July. I was just wondering what you's would suggest for a first car. I really like the 99-04 style Jeep Grand Cherokee...( I think WoodiE has one). I also like my dad's 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Price range would be key here, I buy/sell/trade all the time and might be able to point you in the right direction.

If you like Jeeps, don't overlook the Liberty. I have 75K miles on my 04 Liberty Limited with no problems. Plenty of H.P. and torque from the V-6, around 200h.p. It gets around 20 mpg avg too. It will roll out on the interstate without breaking a sweat. It's my wifes but I am not ashamed to drive it.

I used to not like the liberty's but they kinds grew on me...I will look into them.

A grand cherokee deserves a good looking at. Get the inline 6 and not the v8. Those inliners last FOREVER if you change the oil and don't let it overheat. My was still going strong at 360k or so before the guy in the f250 decided he wanted to see what was in my trunk.

Yeah the Grand cheroke with the I6 is at the top of the list....Mind you my budget is around $5000.
