seems like we have a ton of firearms guys on this forum, if you want to show them off this is the thread.

my S & W 629 classic, comp trigger spring, red dot scope my deer hunting gun: 23 whitetails, 4 mule deer, one Elk (New Mexico) hoping to get to Texas sometime soon for a wild boar hunt.,and when i'm feeling brave i take it to bowling pin shoots and do quite well. (not to mention i scare the crap out of other competitors !)

on my bucket list is to take a Kodiak bear in Alaska,...although after doing some checking with a few outfitters...Russia might be a good option !

second my Beretta .40 cal tactical, light mount is not on it, trillium night sights, my home security gun (LOL).

my dan Wesson .357 as it in the shop having some work done to it.(interchangeable barrels )
:D

12 pointer, in the farmlands of southern MN, we have a ton of deer, and a ton of hunters, so harvesting a buck over 3 years old is hard to come by! ( to many meat hunters, that dont want to pass on small bucks and let them grow up !) i wont even look at taking a young buck, but they are fun to watch from the stand

saw this nice one on the trail cam, but never got a shot him during the season !

this is more typical of the deer we see!

Sounds like I would fit in over there. When I was younger I got excited about the racks but not anymore, the smaller the dear the better the meat. Earlier this year I drilled a 70 lb button buck at 340 yrds, not long after a 110 lb doe at 292 yrds....That was exciting!

oh we still take a few for meat! i love venison ! our problem is that everyone else who boarders our property is shot happy, they take down every deer that comes by ! their choice, it's their land. just wish they would let a few of the bucks make it a few more years so we can have some bigger deer. we have some nice racked deer, but body size is just average. hard to beat a good corn fed deer, grilled to perfection! :D

all you guys suck, because i dont have any deer meat. :D

Lol, That's just un-American! I have an entire stand up freezer full of elk, deer, axis, and other varieties of meat. Lol! Eat some just about every day

Me neither actually. I dont care for elk or moose much. Had a bunch of moose over the last year that took for ever too eat cuz it just wasn't that good.

i dont find deer meat that good ..and deers are way to small to hunt if you ask me ....wy kill an animal for just a few pounds of meat ?? .

thats why i hunt moose ...at least it is worth it when i shoot one ....we get on average 500 pounds of meat per moose :D

how many little bambi would i have to kill to get that much meat ?? lol

Tee hee hee. He said deers.

Ever eaten squirrel? Gotta kill a ton of them for a few pounds of meat. And they are friggin delicious! Lol. Moose is just nasty.

Oh jesus where do I begin?...

Model 1897 Marlin 45-70 Govt Lever Action scoped
2 WWII M1 Garands (both common and super rare model)
M1 Carbine WWII
Browning Gold 3 1/2" 12g. Semi-Auto with Real-Tree grafix
.22 cal rifle
Ruger 45 Handgun
Kar 98k German bolt action WWII rifle

And probably about a dozen WWII rifles handed down from my grandpa.

Hunting squirrel is still my favorite hunting by far, with duck hunting a close second! I don't particularly like hog hunting but wild hog is my favorite to eat, IMO nothing comes close!
