What about the
CEN Fun Factor 4WD 2 Speed .16?

Is this a good reliable product?

Familiar enough to know I dont like them..lol.. Not to be harsh, but you would be better off saving for a more reputable companys rc such as HPI, Traxxas, Associated, Losi, OFNA Something of that nature. Some people might get all bent outta shape about this, but Cen is kinda a lower end rc and is known for being hard to get parts for and being unreliable.

The front cvd's are weak and expensive to replace. There is no slipper. You have to mutilate the body if you want access to the pullstart. The chassis will flex if you are to hard on it which will strip the spur gears which are time consuming to replace. You more or less have to order all parts on-line unless you live in a major city.

Other than all that its a fun little truck.

If you want a stadium truck, get an rc10gt (or equivilent) and gear it up and put big tires on it. More reliable in many repects and way easier to find parts for.

is this the fun factor line? i like their rally models....

edited to remove reference to item I am trying to sell. sorrry

anyway, CEN, I have seen their ads, look like interesting vehicles, but not sure about parts support. I have only seen one at a hobby shop, and it was used.

bud of mine has had 2 of the CEN rc's..........on-road and the fun factor MT, both were very un-reliable and easily broken......I would save up and get a reputable truck like 4u2nv said....thats my opinion and you know what they say about opinions...........

I have a really hopped up HPI Nitro MT with a Fantom FR15 engine. strong truck, fast running. PM me if interested. Not famliar with CEN's, but the nitro mt parts are pretty easy to come by.
Dude this isnt the for sale section.

anyway, my comments were not only for the fun factor itself, but the whole Cen company. If the fun factor is built like everything else they make, I would stay away.

4u2nv seams to be vewy vewy wize on this subject...you should listen to him grasshopper.

All of the cheap knock offs suck. You would be better off with a used rc from one of the rc's mention above.
